Who is Jennifer?
Jennifer Johnson works in Corporate Communications at Church Mutual Insurance Company, where she uses her journalism background to highlight the organization’s work. She is actively involved in leadership initiatives at Church Mutual and is deeply committed to community service, including support of women’s leadership and youth-focused community service programs. Jennifer is the recipient of the Wausau Area Chamber’s 2024 ATHENA Women’s Leadership Award and the 2025 Women United Impact Award. She lives in Rib Mountain with her husband and three children and enjoys cheering on their many activities.
Why United Way?
I believe strongly in the power of bringing people together to create meaningful change. The United Way of Marathon County plays a unique role in connecting community needs with the people and resources that can make the greatest difference. It’s an honor to serve on the board and allows me to contribute my passion for community engagement and relationship-building while helping strengthen the place my family and so many others call home.
